Choose a compact pocket flashlight by shape
Pick the shape that fits your pocket or keychain. Then compare controls, battery arrangement and charging side by side.

Start with the shape
Think about the body you are willing to carry. A slim cylinder, a short mini cylinder, a flat keychain light and a larger flat rectangle all sit in a pocket differently.
Brightness numbers will not tell you whether a light feels narrow, short, flat or wide. Choose the shape first, then check the exact product page and manual for the other details.
The four shapes compared
Streamlight MicroStream USB is the slim cylindrical choice. ThruNite Archer Mini is the shorter mini cylinder. Wuben G5 is the flat keychain form with a rotating head.
Coast Slayer Pro is the larger flat rectangular option. The Dune finish and model 31104 identify the exact version in this comparison.
Carry point and controls
Both cylinders are clip-oriented pocket lights. G5 adds keychain carry and a rotating head. Slayer Pro uses a larger flat body. Decide whether you want the light to ride like a pen, hang with keys, or sit flat against the pocket.
Control placement matters when only part of the light is exposed. The MicroStream USB and Archer Mini both use a tail switch. Check the exact product page or manual for the clip, carry point and head position that suit the way you plan to use it.
Battery and charging
MicroStream USB uses a removable Streamlight 66607 rechargeable battery and micro-USB on the light. Archer Mini uses a built-in 320mAh 10400 battery with USB-C under its threaded head cover.
G5 uses a built-in 450mAh battery and USB-C at 5V/1A. Slayer Pro uses an integrated ZITHION rechargeable battery and USB-C. Its official product and quick-start records do not list complete package contents or a printed manual version.
